Compatibility and setup

For a single USB-C cable connection, the USB-C port on your laptop, phone or tablet must support video output, such as DisplayPort Alternate Mode, and provide sufficient power. Some devices may require the monitor to be connected to an additional USB-C power source. When using Mini HDMI, connect USB-C power to the monitor because HDMI does not supply operating power to the display.
