It gives you a direct wired connection from your USB-C device to the projector’s HDMI input, which can be a simpler and more stable option than relying on wireless casting alone.

The right-angle design also helps keep the cable path neater when the projector is positioned on a shelf, side table or compact entertainment setup.

Compatibility and setup

For best results, place the projector on a stable surface with enough airflow around it and use a matte, neutral-coloured wall or screen where possible. Lower ambient light will help the image look clearer and more consistent.

HDMI devices can be connected directly, and Bluetooth speakers or 3.5 mm audio devices can be used if you prefer external sound. The quick start guide also notes that an HDMI cable is an additional item you may need for setup.
