Laser CarPlay Dongle Connection Guarantee

Your Laser and Navig8r wireless CarPlay dongle is covered by our Connection Guarantee. If your dongle fails to create a stable wireless CarPlay or Android Auto connection after completing all required checks and troubleshooting, we will replace it at no cost.

What This Guarantee Covers

A free replacement is provided if your dongle fails due to:

  • Confirmed incompatibility after all checks are completed
  • Defective dongle hardware
  • Repeated connection or pairing failures despite correct setup

This guarantee does not cover misuse, unsupported vehicles, unsupported phones or issues caused by third party cables.


Before Requesting a Replacement

Phone Requirements

  • iPhone 6 or newer with iOS 10 or later
  • Android 11 or later with Google Play Services
  • Phone must support wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto

Car and Head Unit Requirements

  • Your car must support wired CarPlay or wired Android Auto
  • The dongle does not add CarPlay to cars that do not already have it
  • Some older Mazda Connect, Lexus Enform, Alpine and Pioneer units may be incompatible

USB Port Requirements

  • Use the same USB port you normally use for wired CarPlay
  • Avoid charge only ports
  • USB port must output at least 5V 1A

Common Connection Symptoms

  • No power to the dongle
  • Dongle light on but CarPlay does not start
  • Pairing process gets stuck
  • Connection drops or audio does not route correctly
  • Requires unplug and replug each time

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Restart your phone and car infotainment system
  2. Forget the dongle in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings
  3. Remove saved CarPlay or Android Auto devices from the car
  4. Pair the dongle again from scratch
  5. Try a different supported phone
  6. Try a different USB port
  7. Test the dongle in another compatible vehicle if available
